Natural Colours

Three quick grainy mobile photographs of last week’s Full Moon. The picture quality isn’t the best and no details can clearly be made out, but I like the colours.

Speaking of colours, last Thursday morning was spectacular. I was out and about at sunrise. Already, and even though it was still dark, a bright double rainbow illuminated the skies. It’s an odd feeling, looking at a rainbow in the dark.

A few minutes later, the darkness faded away, and the whole sky was an amazing blend of yellows and golds, with the added colours from the rainbows, obviously.

It was magical.

And I was so caught up in the moment’s magic I forgot to take a few snaps.

Not that it lasted long, I hasten to add. Ten or fifteen minutes later, I was surrounded by normal daylight.

There’s a message in this: seize the moment; for soon the moment will be just a memory.

YOU forgot to take a pic? Hard to believe TL…When I first looked at the middle picture you snapped I thought those were red eyes in the dark not tail lights! It gave it a whole other feel 🙂
I like the colors because they are soft and soft is good in this sharp edged world we live in. Be well friend….VK

I was too caught up in the splendour to even think, VK! You’re right about the red eyes not being red eyes, but they aren’t tail lights either. There was only me on that road. I think they may be distant street lights, but they seem too close. Very strange. They weren’t that prominent when I took the snap!

When I ordered it I just wanted a pay as you go phone with text.

    What I got was a phone/text/radio/camera!!! 🙂

I don’t even own a cellphone/smart phone….never have and thankfully have no desire when I see how people become obsessed with them. I guess I am just a plain old simple girl….H 🙂

They do seem to have a certain compulsion, VK.

I believe the newer mobile phone models now come with an in-built toothbrush, Prenin!
I shall be on the lookout for a rainbow cloud now.

Lovely photos, Tom… but I see Halloween hasn’t quite deserted you yet. Whose glowing red eyes are in the middle photo? 😉

Those aren’t eyes, Diane. They weren’t at all that clear when I took the photo either… I think they may be distant street lights, but they seem very red…
