Three quick grainy mobile photographs of last week’s Full Moon. The picture quality isn’t the best and no details can clearly be made out, but I like the colours.
Speaking of colours, last Thursday morning was spectacular. I was out and about at sunrise. Already, and even though it was still dark, a bright double rainbow illuminated the skies. It’s an odd feeling, looking at a rainbow in the dark.
A few minutes later, the darkness faded away, and the whole sky was an amazing blend of yellows and golds, with the added colours from the rainbows, obviously.
It was magical.
And I was so caught up in the moment’s magic I forgot to take a few snaps.
Not that it lasted long, I hasten to add. Ten or fifteen minutes later, I was surrounded by normal daylight.
There’s a message in this: seize the moment; for soon the moment will be just a memory.
