
Pterodactyls circle, smothered by the steamy mist evaporating from the molten lava below. Rocks heat and cool simultaneously, smoke burns and water becomes a sizzling gas in a split second. Where it can be, the water is calm, cooler but definitely not cold even in the midst of this searing winter.
Soon, very soon, the volcanic winter will be no more, replaced by an even hotter summer. Just as volcanic, potent and steamy, only with added sunshine.
Well, one must always look on the bright side of things.
I needed a break from the norm this evening, whatever that is.
