Is the Earth tired?
Is that why she shakes?
Sending out tremors… sending out quakes?
Or is the Earth tired
Of the mess that man makes?
Constantly wrecking; making mistakes…
If the Earth’s tired
Then what can we do?
Make sure she’s comfortable…
I would; would you?

I am sure she is exhausted after all we’ve inflicted upon her back….So sad. The best we can do is respect our own spaces and take of them. Allow that space to flourish and blossom…Be good to the earth, she is all we have….VK 🙂

I think Tom she is so tired of the parasites we have become as we take take and TAKE… She needs time to rest and recover.. Lovely post and poem Tom. Sue 🙂

Thanks again, Sue. You’re right… I sometimes catch glimpses of us acting like parasites scuttling around the Earth’s surface. I get odd thoughts popping into my mind every now and then!
