1998 – 2014

Just heard that my little feline buddy Spudley the Cat has moved on to pastures new. She now has her wings, and is probably off somewhere already greeting her new friends in her new world with her usual cheery “Wewwo!”

Thanks for visiting so often Spuds, it was a pleasure to get to know you. Look after yourself in your new world, and rest well.

I don’t think so, VK. The thing is, Spudley passed her reign over to Shadow quite a few months ago – she only called by once or twice to check things were OK after that!
And isn’t it strange that I posted about her only the other day?

Sorry about Spudley. Ever call her Spud? Gone, but not forgotten, right? ❤

Thanks, Tess… she used to get the whole combination… Spudley, Spoodles, Spudster, Spud, Spuddles.
      And absolutely never forgotten!

She was lovely, Diane. I’ve not seen her for a few months myself, but when I used to see her she’d always trot over to say Wewwo. Really sweet.

That’s really sad…losing a furry feline buddy leaves a big gap especially when they came with lots of character. I like the way you wrote about your Spudly buddy…I think Spudly will be purring too 🙂

Oh, she will be, Icewolf. I used to help her to get down from a high fence as she got a little older… I’d turn my back to her, and lean forward slightly so she could step onto my shoulder. I’d then lower myself down so she could step to the ground. She purred the whole way down. She sounded like she had a motor inside her… and I could actually feel her vibrations from the purr.

She sounds like such a character Tom. So sorry your wee buddy has passed, their lives are way too short.
