The Face by the House on the Hill

Not far away from where I live is an old house on a hill. That’s it pictured above.

It was going to be the setting for a little ghost story, when I noticed something quite remarkable about the image itself.

Long time readers of my blog will know that, on occasion, I post images of trees and plants in which, between the leaves, appear faces and animals.

There aren’t many trees or plants in this picture, but there is clearly a face.

I think it’s a woman’s face, but I could be wrong. Maybe you could tell me what you see in the comments below.

I’ve tweaked the colours slightly, but haven’t done anything else to the image.

The face I see is almost in the centre of the picture, lower half, beside what looks like a question mark.

So, do you see it? Or do you see something else…?

I was not able to see the face, Tom. Maybe if you could upload a larger image.

It’s actually not an easy one to spot this one, Deb, but now that I know it’s there I can spot it every time! I’m about to post again other images that will highlight where I see the face.

Yes, I see it, a humanoid face with bushy fur-hair. Could also be a giant fossilized hominid head.

Yes, CM, the hair appears after the face is spotted, but then ‘adds the edge’. And now that you say it, I can see the hominid head as well!

Nope, sorry, can only see a question mark fallen on its side in the bushes… 🙂

    God Bless!

I’ll post again in a few minutes revealing where I see the face, Prenin.
I like this kind of post as they show how everyone sees things differently! I only saw the question mark after seeing the face!

I could see a smiling face along the left bottom edge and if you could take the whole picture length as being one foot then the image of the face would be aprox 2 inches or so in on the left..

I have an idea of where you’re looking, Sue, but I can’t make out a face there as yet. No – change that… I can now see some eyes there!!!

Great setting for a haunted tale . . . but I don’t see a face. Just the white question mark.

It does look like a face… and I believe I see a gallows on the left, beside the window…

I think I can see a gallows where you’re looking, Diane, it’s very odd how things look completely different in the dark. I will be posting the original image shortly, so you can see what I mean. The face is actually there on the original as well, only I didn’t spot it until I noticed it in this image.

Hard to see anything in the pic TL…Enlarge it and clear it up a bit. At present it is mostly shadows…Sorry 😦 VK

No problems, VK… we all see things differently, and I wasn’t expecting many to make out the face in this image, as it is quite tricky. I shall be posting shortly images that highlight where I’m looking and what I see… but again, it may not be obvious to all. It is actually the shadows that make up the face! 😀

I think I can see a star-gazing or sleeping humanoid alien face….hard to tell what’s happened to its lower appendages – ie legs as an alien might be completely legless anyway…but maybe this is the horrible face of a masked Halloween murderer planning a dreadful doom for all who set camera lens anyway near the house! lol 😉
