One Minute Ramble: Ooooh!

In the interest of trying to keep this blog going, I’m really trying. I really am.

I’m typing between the thuds of my headache, bodily aches and the rasps of my breathing as I try – and fail – to hold in a slight cough.

It comes to something when one’s legs ache in unison with one’s head. A throb above, a throb below. It’s like being in one huge throb, actually, without a beginning and an end. The middle of me, that is, between head and legs. The head and legs are telling a different tale; they have minds of their own. Nothing to do with me…

Ooooh.

How many Os in that Ooooh?
For every one I see two.
Every throb just lingers there
Causing aches and pains everywhere

I’m moaning as I’m suffering from a Summer Cold right now. Oh, woe is me… Off to bed now, early night… hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow.

I did promise the occasional post of waffle, didn’t I?

Hope you’re Feeling Good. Well, better than I… not a hard task right now!

Thanks, Andra. I think I may be starting to right now. When I move, I have other thoughts… but I’m OK when I stay still! 🙂

Get a good rest up there TL….You’ll be back in tip top shape soon, but that body needs rest! It’s been through a lot of trauma as of late. Be kind to it and sleep well. Hope you are feeling better soon….VK

Summer colds are the wrath of the gods. That’s right! Weren’t you checking out the nether regions of the mansion lately? Aha. Now you know the source… (?) Still, I hate to see a grown man in pain.

Now that you mention it, Tess, you’re right! I’ve probably picked up some lurgy or other from exploring the catacombs.
I’m getting better now, though, so things are looking up!

OOoooh flip, how did you get my Summer Cold, Sir Aquatom? It’s a right doozy. and no mistake. drink plenty of fluids and if you have any milk put brandy in it. (won’t help much, but you won’t care at all!!) 🙂 By the by, I LOVE t’Bulldog. and his bottle. Any Whisky in it? Sorry, I sound like a right boozer, but mayhap that’s the cure-all? Take Xtra care and get better. (Took us 3 weeks to finally get rid, and it’s finally packed it’s bags. Yippeee!!) Will keep coming round with a thermometer, Why? um, no idea. 🙂 xPenx

It’s a double-doozy, Lady P. I must have caught it whilst exploring some other dimension or other. I’m not sure about milk and brandy, but I’m trying the wine method tonight. The dog by the way, is a Clip Art special, so there could be anything in that bottle. I daren’t look!

I feel for you, Tom. There was a monster cold going around over here in NYC in late spring. I caught it and it lingered for weeks. I hope yours is a strain that takes off quickly.
