Make it stop!!!

The woman was on all fours in the cupboard, beneath the sink; soaking wet hair, face and blouse. The man, in the cupboard under the sink with her, finally managed to tighten whatever it was he had been attempting to tighten after accidentally loosening it an hour ago.

There we go, he said, smugly, all sorted and no more dripping.

Well it’s about time, sighed the woman, exasperated and with a slight gurgle, perhaps now you can start on the job you actually came here to do, and prevent the upstairs toilet from overflowing.

The man suddenly had a sinking feeling as he realised he had totally misinterpreted his job.
