Ankh Another Thing

Not alone

When sigils appear

Symbols of destiny

The hidden hand of opportunity and surreptitious manipulation

Or a helping hand of appealing direction and doorways that seem always open

Both paths snake over the horizon with intertwining branches

Some branches lead through sandy desert and over calm seas

Others reach high over mountainous terrains and undulate through turbulent waves

Plain sailing or the scenic route

Both reach a destination

The destination

Planned / intentional or orchestrated

The questions lead the way

And the answers appear not necessarily at the end but almost there

Not necessarily at the end as the answer may pivot the pathway, the journey continues in another direction

Almost there when the path once again opens out in front, widening before narrowing and fading into the hazy distance

The path may be clear

But the horizon not so

Hence the sigils, the symbols

Directional signposts placed by hand, by chance or by coincidence

A reminder to keep moving forward

There is always another thing

Not necessarily an ankh

But another thing
