Dry

Not because of the weather… it’s warm here in Cheshire today, with fine, drizzling rain… not the rain that soaks you through instantly, but the rain that drenches you thoroughly without you even noticing you’re actually getting wet. It’s that fine, it’s like walking through a cloud… if the cloud wasn’t cloudy and visibility was OK but a bit grey and damp around the edges.

But no, the title of this post isn’t to do with the weather… it’s to do with inspiration. Or, more to the point, lack of it.

One thing us Brits always manage to fall back on, when there’s nothing to say, is the weather. Turned out nice again. It’s so hot. Rainy. Windy. Cold. There’s a chill in the air. An edge. It’s not like it was yesterday. Did you see the meteor shower last night? No, it was cloudy.

At least it helps with blog posts too. Nothing to say? Inspiration dried up? Never mind, write about the weather and see where you end up.

So I did.

And here we are.

I think most aware brains are exhausted and just trying to stay balanced amid the insanity going on….Inspiration is a rare commodity during chaotic times. I guess we’re just lucky to still be breathing….Take care of yourself first then expand outward if you so choose. VK 🙂

We can only do what we can do, VK. And that’s enough for us…
