Mrs Primrose entered the library and stopped instantly. Laid out on the table were various objects beside a photo of her. At first, she thought she was safe, then suddenly realised a very important object was missing.
She desperately tried to remember who had been at the murder mystery dinner party she’d been hosting. Not that she had a bad memory, but she was more focused on the guests who hadn’t turned up than those who had. How dare they not attend.
She changed her track of thought and went through, in her mind, the guests who were sat around the dinner table.
Lady Iris had been sharing her garden and conservatory snaps with Sister Sage from the convent.
Sister Sage clutched PC Copper’s hand in an attempt to get him away from Master Lead, the handyman’s apprentice.
Master Lead had been speaking to Dr Garnet earlier about the latter’s waterworks problem.
Dean Cobalt, Sister Sage and Foreman Tyrian from the garage were arranging some work for the church’s minibus.
Lady Iris arrived with Great Aunt Crystal, but Great Aunt Crystal nipped to the ladies and never returned.

Mrs Primrose realised who and what she was looking for. She turned to leave the library and came face to face with that very person.
