In the beginning, things were simpler. Impressive, but simple.
As time went on, things altered technically. Easier ways of doing things meant things were done quicker, sometimes looking more impressive... yet somehow missing a quaint traditional charm.
As time progresses, more advances bring in modern and futuristic versions of what has gone before. It is said we cannot reinvent the wheel. Change is the only constant. We mustn't stand in the way of progression. If we aren't careful, we could lose the skills we've spent all those years before us acquiring.
Sometimes a quaint simplicity is all that's needed.
It's exciting viewing the modern world from a viewpoint in the middle ages... but thinking back to how things were done before our technology is really impressive. We may now have the magic, but they were the ones with the minds.
