Chugging Along

Chugging along
Is the old bus Bess
From the best bus base
To the Boss brass place
And back, boos Bess
She boos in bliss
Not blues and bits
With bells that blow
And bees that buzz
As Bess boos by
Bess the bus blows bass boos in bliss
Chugging along and back again

A future historian has notified me that taken by itself, this nonsense poem makes no sense. They have asked for it to be translated, to make it more movingly meanable. In the future, meanable is a word, apparently.

Translation:
Chugging along - moving favourably
The old bus Bess - Bess, the old bus
The best bus base - the smartest depot
The Boss brass place - the brass works
Boos Bess - Bess's engine noise (booooo, boooo, boooooo, booooooooooooo....)
Boos in bliss - sounds delightful
Blues and bits - grumpy, moany, under a cloud
Bells that blow - the sound of the onboard bell... a whispering ringing sound
Bees that buzz - happy bees as Bess boos by
Bess boos by - Bess passes along the road
Bess the bus blows bass boos in bliss - Bess emits a deep, low toned boo sound as she happily passes by
Chugging along and back again - a circular route
