Past Life: A Karmic Cleanse (iv)

I walk through the gateway to the Eternal Realm. The gate opens into a dark tunnel with an elaborate door ahead of me. The door is wooden with intricate carvings, white in colour. A bright white light illuminates the door, which has a slightly reflective white surface. I breathe deeply, then push open the door.

On the other side, I find myself at the top of an ornate staircase, with wooden bannisters on either side, covered yet again with intricate carvings.

I walk down the steps, counting as I do so.

At the bottom, I walk through a swirling mist, which transports me back into a past life. I close my eyes for a second.

I open my eyes again and find myself crouching in an alcove. I am outside a large castle door, on a narrow street that climbs up a steep hill between the castle and some other stone buildings. I see no windows on the other side of the street.

I’m aware of a tree, high up at the top of the hill, and many people are climbing up to the top, walking at speed.

I look down at my body. I am male and dressed in raggedy clothing. It looks like I’m wearing a large sack for a tunic.

I wonder where the people are going at such speed at first, and then I wonder why this incarnation of me isn’t following. I try to see through the crowd but can’t see anything. I feel curious. As I do, the crowds, the street, and the buildings begin to shimmer out of sight in an array of bright, twinkling lights. I close my eyes.

I open my eyes again to find myself in a small garden, which appears to be being used as some kind of farmyard. There are a lot of people walking quickly away from me without looking back.

I seem to be merely watching on, as these people, who I get the impression they are family members, quickly go away. Another person catches my eye as they walk passed me, and I get the feeling I asked or pleaded with them to stay… but they didn’t. I watch them disappear out of the garden, and I’m left, standing alone.

The scene freezes.

I step out of this incarnation’s body.

I open my heart chakra, imagining a bright green ball of light growing from within my chest and expanding outwards. This green light reaches the chest of my earlier incarnation and touches his heart. I offer my thanks for being able to step into this scene and offer love and forgiveness to acknowledge and clear any karma that has brought me here.

I ask this earlier incarnation of me if there is a message he would like to give to me before I leave.

I wait for a short while, and then hear:

Don’t force anything on your journey. Everything happens in its own time and for its own reason. Enjoy where you are now, wherever you are now, because that enjoyment opens the path ahead into more positive opportunities. Don’t be bitter or resentful. Don’t think you’re better than others. Just be yourself and enjoy this life you are living.

I turn, and walk back through the mist. I climb the stairs. I walk through the double doors. I walk back along the tunnel, and then through the gateway back into the now.

I open my eyes, calm and relaxed in the now moment.

Thanks, Sue. I don’t seem to get a lot from these trips in one regard, but I get loads from another. I shall continue with them, however, and see what else I can find. 🙂
And of course, being in the now is where it’s all at!

      It is, Icewolf.
I love doing these meditations, but don’t want to do them too close to each other, in case I forget what life I’m actually in! 🤣

Many people say to stay in the now, it’s the only place to be, but…What nobody talks about is the fact to be in the now is very challenging! I think it’s why so many avoid it. Being in the now requires us to face ourselves and our issues head on. We don’t seem to realize once we do that we open up to love both for ourselves as well as others. The world needs us to clear away the past so we can face the now and finally begin to live with love in our hearts. Great journey you took TL…Well said. Enjoy your travels….VK

Thanks, VK. These trips are eye openers, but in small ways. Anything that helps to clear our past ‘stickies’ is bound to help with our present.
