Ah, yes!

Urgently, she dashed up the stairs and burst through the door into the bedroom.

The bed was made neatly, clothes put away in the wardrobes. The window was closed. The room, empty.

She wore her slippers, wondering why she urgently needed to visit this room.

Then, her memory tipped the balance on her mental scales… she’d dashed upstairs to use the loo; ah, yes!

Posted for Six Sentence Stories. Denise’s prompt word is balance.

I’d like to say me too, Sue… but many a time I find myself in the wrong room! 😕 (Not when I’m going to that room, I must add! 🤣)

Surprisingly, Tom, the loo is where we often are inspired, struck by ingenious ideas or even better, insuring the person who was supposed to pick us up 15 minutes ago, shows up ringing the doorbell just as we sit down 😆🤣

🤣Ohhhhh yes! Know that one well Tom😂The urgent dash😅Guaranteed there will be a housemate in the little room complete with phone and videos playing whilst I hang x-legged outside the door praying for mercy and wondering if I can get away with utilising the back garden under the cover of UN-darkness🤣 That or they’re taking a long relaxing shower and colouring their hair for the next hour!😱🤣

🤣The mind boggles Tom!😂 But in the event of an urgent visit to the wrong room there’s always the window 🪟 if you open it nice and wide…and make sure it’s not in danger of slamming shut in the wind at the crucial moment!🤣 Of course, always check if there’s anybody below 😁 or if it’s facing a neighbour’s window😉😂

No neighbour’s windows, and them below probably wouldn’t notice anything anyway 🤭
But, if I’m desperate for ‘that’ room, I always make it there eventually… always just in time…
