The Unicorn Challenge: Puzzled

Already, I’ve spotted Wally, by the edge, reading his newspaper, hiding in plain sight.

I’m struggling to find five differences between the two sets of three wicker chairs at the front, although the middle one on the right is turned round just a little further than the middle one on the left. Actually, no, I’ve just spotted another difference with the set on the right… one of the chairs is on a drain or something.

The colours of the leaves and the walls made the jigsaw puzzle a little difficult to complete, but I managed it, and in quick time, too.

I can see several lead pipes hanging from the two canopies… and yes, I can see someone hiding behind the tree over on the left of the picture. I’m sure that’s Doctor Black. He’s usually the victim… and in the mix of people, I can already see Mrs White, Miss Scarlett, and Professor Plum milling about. Ah yes, Colonel Mustard’s there, too… she’s just walking in wearing the mustard trousers.

But with all that going on, I’m puzzled by one thing. Stumped, actually. How on Earth are those plants growing out of the windows like that? They’re clearly outside… you can see the reflection in the glass.

Actually, that’s Reverend Green behind the tree, I’ve just realised. I’d best dash over to join them before all the seats are taken.

I wonder, though… given the clues, if you can guess who I am? It’s a simple puzzle, I know!

Wally and the female Colonel were nice touches. As to the mystery person I’m clueless, not being familiar with the game but I did note the absence of libraries and candlesticks. 🙂

Thanks, Doug. I didn’t want to make it too obvious! 🤣

I’m afraid that, like Doug, I’ve never played Cluedo, so I’m in the dark, or perhaps the kitchen, here.
But it all seems very clever and possibly funny.
    Sorry!

It was just an attempt to get as many puzzles as I could into the post, CE. The Cluedo lot seemed to just take over! 🤣

A unique take on the prompt, Tom, and a neat puzzle of puzzles flowing from the picture,
I like the Colonel Mustard change and it makes me think the MC might be a Mrs (or Mr 🙃) Peacock?
I had to look up the characters, it’s so long since I played the game.
    A delightful story.

I’ve a wee favour to ask, Tom.
My ageing eyes don’t cope too well with dark on dark for print. Could you ever use a lighter colour for the print on this challenge?
      I’d really appreciate that.

Sorry, Jenne, I’ve altered the colour now. I used that blue as it was closer to a peacock colour as an extra clue.
I post on my mobilius phoneus, and it warns me if the colours selected may cause issues for readers… this time, it didn’t.
If I need to use colour in the future, I think I’ll change the background colour on the block as well… 🙂

Thank you, Tom, that’s good of you. Much clearer now.
I missed the colour connection with the name.
Sorry to have messed that up!

            Not a problem! 🙂
I’d rather have my posts readable! 🤣

      Thanks, Jenne. 🙂
I was writing as Mrs Peacock, but Colonel Mustard coming along as she did clouded things. Puzzling, that! 🤣

That was quite a romp. Lots of fun, and got me studying the photo a bit more closely. It would make quite a challenging jigsaw, if one were so inclined.

I would’ve put more puzzles in, Margaret, had I not reached the word limit (or if Cluedo hadn’t decided to dominate things! 🤣)
I think it would make a good jigsaw.

Cluedo? I thought we were playing “Where’s Waldo”! Well, that explains it.
I adored this, Tom! What fun and you know how I feel about fun! Excellent take!

I tried to fit as many puzzles in as I could with this one… but Cluedo took centre stage! 🤣
      Pleased you liked it!

That was such fun, Tom! We will have to find our Cluedo – it must be somewhere!🦚

Perhaps it’s in the kitchen, Chris… or the library! 😄
