The Crowd Reacts

The Medieval Tapestry makers soon got to work depicting the arrival of Marley’s Comet that Medieval Wednesday.

In some places, the evening was very dark, with Medieval villagers rushing out of their hamlets to even darker fields in nothing but their nightwear, to get a better look at the never before seen phenomenon.

Several villagers took to the hills and averted their eyes from the bright light in the sky.

More villagers joined the throng. Some felt the need to kneel, others to clamber upon the backs and shoulders of other perplexed witnesses.

Some Medieval Tapestry makers got confused, depicting the comet as if it were a fire falling from the skies, directly into the centre of the oohing crowd.

In the city squares, according to the Medieval Tapestry makers, crowds turned out to calmly celebrate the event.

And eventually, despite the sky being covered in thick clouds, they (the Medieval Tapestry makers) captured the party atmosphere at the Mansion, and specifically in the Grinds, with Marley’s Comet looking like a huge disco ball overhead.
