Scattered Clouds

Like the scattered clouds in this AI generated image, my blogging visits at the moment could be described as somewhat sporadic. I apologise if I’m absent for a while, and then appear to have a mammoth catch-up session (which may include a bombardment of comments and/or likes).

I’m trying to keep on top of posting daily, and seem to be managing that, but the other side of blogging – the more fun part – replying to comments and keeping things flowing in a two-way direction is also caught up in a little turbulence.

The posts should tell you that I’m still here (I am, believe me!) but there may also be a dip in pressure here too, which could result in a few clear patches.

Atmospheric conditions (and wind) aside, the outlook is good for a return to the full blogging experience, although more long-term rather than in the immediate future.

Please remember I see the sunshine from your comments here, and love getting caught up inside your multiple posts when I visit.

The wind sock is blowing nicely, flapping in the comfortable warmth of this imaginary desert. Soon, the rains will come, and wash away some cobwebs, freeing up more time for me to fill again.

Please bear with me as I persevere through this changeable cloudscape.

Thank you, CM. I’m sunbathing right now, in fact! I got caught in a heavy downpour earlier (for six hours!), but I’m absorbing those rays now as I type! πŸ™‚

Blogging should not be a high pressure situation! Take care 🌈

It shouldn’t be, Paula! And usually it isn’t (unless a theme issue comes along!!!) 🀣

It can be very time-consuming to comment on every post or reply to every comment. It’s a habit I’ve gotten into but I don’t regret it. I figure if people create something that moves me, I want to acknowledge it; likewise, if someone takes the time to comment on my work, I will take the time to reply. It’s just the courteous thing to do. Somehow we learn to budget our time but not at the expense of another blogger.
Looking forward to reading you again!

I (eventually!) reply to comments left for me, Nancy (or I’ll ‘like’ the comment to acknowledge it if I have nothing further to add), and try to visit the sites I follow when I can, usually through the Reader… although I think I miss some posts. I also try bulk catching up, if I have time… but it’s time that’s the issue for me! πŸ™„πŸ˜ŠπŸ€£

As my piano teacher always replied when I told her I didn’t have time to practice:
        “You have all there is.”

Blogging should be fun, Tom. Many of us feel overwhelmed at times trying to keep up. No worries, my friend.

Oh, it absolutely is fun, Eugenia! I’ve been blogging for years, and love filling my spare time with it! It’s finding that spare time that’s the issue! 🀣

Clouds are the landscape of choice for the Lens Artists this week, Tom. And they all have a silver lining.

      They do indeed, Jo! πŸ˜ƒ
And without clouds, there would be absolutely no chance of going out dancing in the rain, would there? πŸ€”πŸ˜ƒ

Mammoth catch up times seem to be the norm of late, Icewolf. As do mammoth wind socks, which is quite fortunate! πŸ™‚
