Ellova Palava gathered Matthew Mist, Rust, The Opposite Man and Bubblegum together in the reception of the Elixir Spa Resort Hotel and Leisure Complex, after deciding the best way to keep Jordan Grainger and Moonbeam apart would be to keep them under lock and key in separate cages down in the basement, with Lady Might; they hoped Moonbeam wouldn’t be able to weaken the bars of his cage (which were filled with his dark residue) to break out, but noticing how compliant they were with whatever was asked of them, they asked him to stay put just in case.

“Apparently, one of us brought this Madam Valentine here,” Ellova said to the group, “and if it wasn’t one of us,” she gestured around the group looking at each one in turn, “it was either The Lady or the Dropped Apostrophe – but we’ll worry about the culprit later – right now, we’re off to Lovebubble and Dove’s Circus”.

Bubblegum squealed with delight, “The circus – I… LOVE… the circus… clowns, elephants and tigers… I love tigers… will there be tigers?”

“I don’t think so,” Matthew Mist answered with a broad grin, spoiling her excitement, “they’re not allowed to use animals in circuses anymore.”

“Well, I don’t like clowns,” Ellova cut in, “but hopefully we won’t be there long enough to see any – we just need to go in, find Valentine, get her out and bring her back here.”

With that they all left the hotel and boarded the Sambabus with Ellova driving, Bubblegum taking the front seat beside her, and the others filling the seats in the back.

Six Sentence Stories is a blogging challenge hosted by Denise at Girlie on the Edge.

The Co-ordination of Supervillains ongoing story still continues, and will continue later in the week. Previous parts can be found in my Storylines menu. This is another ‘retrospective’ posting, this time using the prompt word ‘key’ which was first used in this post.
