Elsewhere, in a battered cottage on the outskirts of Grantala Village, Mystic K’Sandra peered into her black onyx sphere, having felt a shift in energies at the P’tor caves. The shadows she scried were just that; shadows. She needed something stronger to look deeper, so strong was her need to see what was occurring.
She walked into the back room of the cottage, and pulled an old wooden case from out of an under-the-floor storage space. After using a rag to clear the dust from the lid of the case, she opened it using a strangely shaped key that she wore as a pendant on her wrist.
“Locke, grant me access, grant me time, grant my use of the Felteryme.” K’Sandra chanted the mantra three times, and then inserted the key into a hole at the back of the domed object to wind up the clockwork mechanism inside.
Once fully wound, the clicking and clanking of the cogs inside could be heard whirring around and the top of the dome split into two halves, opening outwards to reveal two eye pieces.
She carried the Felteryme into the living room, carefully placing it onto the sturdy wooden table beside the hearth. She pulled her chair close to the table and leant over the viewports.
She watched the light from her open fire dance over the obsidian sphere within, and focussed on recent events in the caves.
The shadows revealed Pickanickl standing before three pathways; Ynayna and Skaglad quickly approaching her location…
More soon…
The age old question of which path will she choose…Hope she chooses wisely.

You never know, Diane. She may be able to get some sort of message through!

Ah yes, the time viewport comes in handy at times, Chris. I’m sure it can do more than just view events, although exactly what hasn’t been revealed to me yet…
