Firing the Imagination; Setting the Scene

It won’t be long now before the sun sets; disappearing behind the horizon and taking the Sisters of Eternity with it. The sounds of the waves gently lapping the shoreline will be the only indication we are here; surrounded by total darkness and feeling only the gentle breeze on our face.

We sit in the darkness; contemplating next steps and revisiting old ones. We ponder what ifs, plot holes and wormholes… we open our minds and let our thoughts wander…

Soon, the Sisters sing; and words and ideas ebb and flow like the tide.

And that is when the magic begins.

Posted for Six Word Saturday.

Love this, Tom. The rhythm of the words feel like the ebb and flow of the tide. Fav bit: “We ponder what ifs, plot holes and wormholes…”
