Silence descends as winds still batter
Trees lose more leaves
And grasses flatten prepared
Though darkness calls and the storm still rages
A glimmer
A shimmer of light
Points to the fact that like the storm
The darkness will come to an end

You’ve totally confused me now, Chris! So you are now two hours behind, yet two seasons ahead??? Or are we two seasons ahead??? Why won’t my brain calculate these differences? Methinks a stint in a darkened room is called for. Luckily, it’s still stormy and quite dark this morning, so that helps…
And White Rabbits to you too, by the way! 🙂
Hey TL….I had to laugh. I saw this email and thought I don’t know who keeps sending me this but I better go in and unsubscribe. Lo and behold I see it’s you and a new site you are doing! So very sorry I have not come on before now. I just kept deleting the emails…Now I know! Good poem you wrote. Appropriate for the times. Take care and again I’m sorry I didn’t know before now it was you sending these emails…I’ll be by more often now 🙂 Be well and stay safe and stay warm as winter approaches! Blessings…VK
No worries, VK! All I did was change the name of the blog, I didn’t realise it would affect the notifications… although thinking about it, it is kind of obvious.
Currently, I’m only blogging at the weekend, and I already posted today, but had a bit of inspiration from the storm that’s raging outside.
Thanks for popping by to the Mansion, VK. 🙂

I turn all the lights off and pretend to be out, VK, when it comes to trick or treaters. I class it as my Hallowe’en trick! Hehehe! The weather should keep them at bay as well tonight, though! 🙂
