The howl of the wind
Scowled
As it swirled
At a hundred miles an hour
Spinning and playing
Showing its power
Stopping the train
Before it planned to stop
Ready to drop
Shoppers to shop
Plans awry
Some folk cry
As they wonder why
Such a pain in the neck
Yet they forget
They’re lucky to be touched
By the wind as it howls
Shopping delayed
And life goes on from now
