She bathed in the light of a thousand stars
Each holding a secret from afar
A dream
A lie
A feeling or two
She just lay
Observing a twinkle or two
Hopes and dreams scattered far and wide
She looked
And she dreamt
And she prayed
And she sighed
Starlight cast out its celestial glory
Silently holding on to each simple story
Keeping hidden long forgotten dreams
Yet opening up thousands of other themes
For starlight pure from years ago
From the dawn of time
Perhaps longer so
Sends back messages, to create new ideas
That fire the imagination
Perhaps remove fears
Silently helping through the darkness of night
Each single pinprick of glorious light
An opening to something good, something new
Something only dreamt of by an observant few
Open, receptive, and ready to act
Who can turn the dream into hard solid fact
She lay in the light from a thousand stars
And felt their glory with all of her heart
Words and picture pulled, created and manipulated from the Universe by me, Tom, just for this blog! I will get back to blogging somehow!
Love both.

Ohhh, Tom! This is truly beautiful.
As you ‘spoke’, and I read, I was softly and gently transported to that place you spoke of. I could feel it, see it and understand it. I love it Tom.
Very well done, you clever chap!
