A quick twenty-minute (or so) abstract which turned into Bonsai Dreams… well, that’s what I saw when the colours started coming together.

      1. Maybe that’s my problem! I did do a painting a couple of weeks ago where I just threw paint on the paper and then made it into something afterward, and I was surprisingly pleased with the result. It was nowhere near as good as yours, but it was pretty darn good for me. 😉

  1. Aw, that’s lovely, Tom. Very spiritual in colour(s). Maybe this is a reflection of what’s going on inside you. … or was going on inside, at the time you painted it. It looks restful, gentle, calm, warm, secure and . . . it has a feeling of love about it.

    Well done, you clever chap!

    1. Thanks, Cobs… and you’re right. I was feeling very calm and relaxed when I painted this. I just used the colours (digitally, of course!) and watched it develop. I had no clue at the beginning where it would end up, but that’s the epitome of going with the flow! 😀

  2. Lovely Bonsai 🙂 Looks a lot healthier than the one my housemate brought home which lasted a few weeks then ended up a bunch of dead twigs!! Definitely not a Bonsai dream! More like a Bonsai nightmare! 😉
