Wish

Today’s theme for Debbie’s One Word Sunday is ‘Wish’, and I wish I had something in any of my photos to represent a wish, but alas, I do not.

I do, however, have these photos of a Harlequin Ladybird, and some folk believe having a ladybird – any ladybird – land on your hand allows you to make a wish that will come true. Now, obviously, ladybirds aren’t necessary in the making or granting of wishes, but they are in some aspects of folklore, and are a necessity for this post!

Debbie’s site will have more links with interpretations on this week’s ‘Wish’ theme.

    • That’s what I love about my mobile phone, Beverly. I can get as close as necessary in the most unusual of places. Not all of my photos work, however, but I love trying!
