Sunny and Chair

#WorldWatercolorMonth Day Two

I just painted this. No pencil sketch beforehand. Just did it.

It’s terrible, isn’t it, when you’re… you know… blissfully sunbathing one minute on a scorching hot beach, when suddenly the heavens open, and you find yourself caught in the midst of a torrential downpour. This painting captures the moment just after you’ve dashed inside with all of your sunbathing necessaries and looked back to see the rain has stopped, and the sun is shining once more over drenched sands.

There is definitely a scene here. It looks good–more that a doodle to me.

Thanks, Charlie. It’s a bit wet after the downpour, but feel free! 🙂 😀
