#NatureDoodlewash

On the Nature Trail today, we come across a tiny tiny pink wild flower, called Herb-Robert, growing amongst the grass. I didn’t know it was called that until I carried out some intensive research on the internet. I also discovered that it has other names: Geranium Robertianum; Red Robin; Death Come Quickly; Storksbill; Dove’s Foot; or Crow’s Foot. It possibly has other names as well. Not at all bad for something I didn’t know a single name for until I started looking. And yes, it is a part of the geranium family.
This is another (very quick!) entry for this month’s Doodlewash adventure, and I’m hoping this counts. I used watercolour pencils this time. Here is the original photo that my sketch is based on:
