Wordle: Summer Storm

Take Two. This time with images. It’s been one of those days!
This should have replaced the other post, instead it’s created a new one. There are no differences between the two posts apart from this paragraph and the images.

Move quickly
Watch the clouds draw in
Wind howling but the air is still – more or less
Run for cover
As the clouds break
Thunder claps overhead; lightning strikes at the rear
Nothing on the weather maps about this!
Time lost
Food shopping can wait!
Just a Summer storm
The day now split in two

For all the impression of panic there is still the awe at such a spectacle. Those lightning strikes always remind us of how small we are!

Oh, yes. Oldegg! I do enjoy good storm, but sometimes they do tend to trigger just a little panic!

One of those days created a wonderful poetic downpour – sometimes flash storms re-jiggle us so what we should do recedes and we do what the moment requires

I agree, Jae. We have to be very adaptable, don’t we?

We’re now just having thunder, VK. And very close conditions. Things will balance out soon… I’m sure!
