Evening on the Lake

Sometimes, the Lake just gives magnificent views.
The reflection of the Auru Nebula, visible from the Mansion in April, scatters shards of multi-coloured sprinkles of light all across the water’s surface. It also causes the sky to appear to have been lit by thousands of silent fireworks, with light so bright it shines through even the densest of clouds.
The display lasts for ten minutes, and then the normality of everywhere returns once again.
Whilst the light display is in effect, the night creatures are eerily quiet… but as soon as it’s over, the cacophony of sounds erupts once more.

Night lights on water is my favorite sight. 🙂

Is that Nessie’s cousin I see framed in the display?

It does put you into a reflective mood, CM… I like it too!
And now that you mention it – yes – it does look like Nessie, doesn’t it? I hadn’t spotted it earlier (looking at the lights, you see…) But I think it’s the Plesiosaur that lives in the Lake.

I knew you were up to something when you were gone for a short spell whizzing about the universe! You brought Nessie back to the lake didn’t you? TL that could be dangerous. There may be fights with the others now….What were you thinking???? VK 🙂

No, VK, I think that’s the Plesiosaur that lives in the Lake… I hadn’t even spotted it in the photo until earlier (although it does tend to stand out a bit, doesn’t it?) However, you have given me an idea to get Nessie here – they may both like it. A change is as good as a rest, as they say! 😉

Thanks, Sylvia. I thought it was the Plesiosaur, but it does look like a whale, now that you mention it!
