Is there anyone left in the world who is honest? Honestly?
If there isn’t a scandal involving sporting people, then there’s a scandal involving off-shore bank accounts, and sometimes both. Or politicians and sporting people. Or off-shore bank accounts.
“Trust me” we’re told. Trust me to do what? We think.
I’m honest. Well, I don’t blog under my true name, but I do part of it, so I’m part honest. I’m honest in being part honest. And I am honest when I post about my wayward hair. I mean, honestly! No-one would make that up.
I’ll be away for the next few weeks as I have to nip to my off-shore reserve to sort out a few things. Something’s come up at short notice. Actually, it hasn’t. I’m not being at all honest here when I say that <- but I am being honest now. I don’t have an off-shore reserve. Well, I did, but someone conned me out of it.
Or did they?
Honestly! You can’t trust anyone these days!

And now for a little more honesty. This post has been written as an experiment. I have today found out that Windows Live Writer has now been released by Microsoft to be an open source project. As I need to post umpteen posts by the end of the year, I’m trying out the new version of Open Live Writer which I downloaded from openlivewriter.org. It looks and feels the same as Live Writer, although I couldn’t get my theme to download; that may be a teething problem. I always seem to get them! Everything else seems (so far!) to be OK. I can add a picture, use tags and categories. Now, I wonder if I can post? Hmmm… well, here goes!
