
The Aurora Borealis was visible from the UK last night, as far south as Staffordshire, which is the next county down from Cheshire. I didn’t get to see it in person, unfortunately, as I was looking in the other direction. One day I shall get to see this magnificent sight. One day very soon, I’m sure. Above is a composite image of how the Mansion would have looked, bathed in the radiant glow of those Northern Lights. Or maybe it did look like that… and I did see the Lights after all. You never know what’s real and what isn’t around these here parts…
