That’s another year!

Well folks, that’s it! Another Halloween month done and dusted!

I’ve posted almost everyday this year with a post that links to Halloween in one form or another, sometimes more than once a day, so the total number of posts exceeds the number of days in October. I’m happy with that.

I’ve revealed my ghostly Gravatar:

There’s a huge blur across the middle of it – it isn’t my nose, you know.

And it’s been fun. My Silly Limerick series didn’t seem to be as popular as I had hoped, but not everyone likes limericks, so I suppose it’s understandable… I enjoyed creating them, and it’s the creation process that’s really important – it saves things becoming stagnant.

Yes, I know this post will be posted on 29th October, but I couldn’t fit it in to any other day afterwards… the 30th is the day after the Gathering in the Grinds and the 31st is Halloween Proper, and I have a full story scheduled to appear throughout the evening.

Me? I’m writing this on November 4th… in the middle of next week, to be exact! Yes, I’m in the future. I had to be away from 29th October due to the Gathering, so the Mansion flung me into the middle of next week. I’ll be back last Friday, or tomorrow from your perspective.

But for now, thanks for sharing Halloween with me. I’ll try to approach it differently next year.

And for those of you reading this before the 31st…

Happy Halloween, Tom! How was yours since your’re already living into the future. How confusing. Tell me. Do the next days go well for me? Do I survive Halloween?

I didn’t get to see it as I was locked in a room – it’s too close into the future to be allowed to, you see. We shall find out tomorrow night.
      Mwahahaha!

Happy Hallowe’en! I was a bit confused when I read the title – I thought I had missed something – but your explanation cleared it up (I think). It must be quite disconcerting to be flung into the middle of next week – I hope it wasn’t too traumatic. 🙂

Happy Hallowe’en, Elaine! I always like that spelling of it… next year, I shall use it – it is the correct version after all!
The journey wasn’t turbulent at all, thanks for asking – coming back seemed worse! 😉

I’m trying to hang on to the traditional spelling as long as I can!

This is the first year I’ve ‘spook’ of Hallowe’en every day (give or take!) in October, and I certainly have no qualms about that.
And thank you for your limericical response, Frank, love it! 😀

Hope your Halloween was good TL seeing as how you have blown forward into November already! What happens to all the kiddies who come trick or treating at the mansion? You won’t be there to turn out the lights on them. Maybe the mansion does not even get trick or treaters being haunted and all….Enjoy November and if it looks like anything serious is on the way, please be kind enough to give us a shout out. Happy Halloween and thanks for all your treats 🙂 VK

I didn’t get to see it when I was in next week, VK… it’s that time paradox thingy where I’m not allowed to know what happens… I could’ve checked the Lottery numbers whilst I was there, but the thought never crossed my mind!
The kids don’t come anywhere near the Mansion… they’d be eaten alive. Well, that’s what -ahem- ‘somebody’ put up on the sign at the gates…
Happy Hallowe’en, VK! It’s almost here!!!
