The Eyes of Mars

A bit out there, this one.

I’ve been exploring Mars. Well, I’ve been exploring the Martian surface, thanks to Google Mars, where the above image has been obtained from.

It struck me that quite a lot of the craters looked like eyes peering out. The more I looked around the eyes – not into the eyes, but around the eyes – I started to see faces of animals appear.

There’s a dog in the centre, and several zombie cats. At the top of the image, about a third of the way in from the left there appears to be a couple of skulls… and over on the right-hand side, about a third of the way down there’s a smiling pumpkin face… well, it’s either that or the Marshmallow Man… and right over to the left, there appears to be a Pac Man Ghost. The face I think that is the clearest, however, appears just above the large crater at 7 o’clock. A witch’s face, with eye, long nose, mouth and pointy chin.

I think I have Halloween-on-the-brain now. I need to lie down in a darkened room.

Can you make out any creepy faces within the craters  – or Eyes – of Mars?

Nope, just a door key. 🙂

I don’t have a mind for seeing strange things! 🙂

    God Bless!

All I see are a lot of craters and dots, Tom, but I now have that old Faye Dunaway-Tommy Lee Jones potboiler, “The Eyes of Laura Mars”, on the brain.

That works better than what I was going with, LA. I was thinking of the Ides of Mars… when I realised it was March.

‘Not into the eyes – but around the eyes’ Haha 😀 I’ll be saying that all day now, thanks Tom! What an amazing photo, I’m totally fascinated by Mars. I’m sure this photo shows endless pumpkin patches, all ready to be picked and carved out in time for Halloween…has to be, right?

      Seems logical to me, Sherri!
I’ve only recently discovered Google Mars… and I’m still trying to get my head around Google Earth. Not into Google Earth but around it… hehehe!
