booth
waiting
for the
thing
to
start.
Ready,
as I thought,
for my one portrait
shot.
The
light flashed
as the
machine thumped several times
and that I thought was that.
When
the
photos
emerged,
fourteen in fact,
and all exactly the same,
I had to
laugh.

The funny thing about numerology and me, VK, is that I’ve always been ‘fond’ of the number 4. And the letter D. I know it makes no sense whatsoever, but its been with me since I was very young. Being born on the thirteenth adds to it, as 1+3=4. I’m so random at times…
