Umpteen years ago this very day, I came into existence for this time around.
According to an article I read about time on the BBC News website, events in the past no longer exist… so if that’s true, my birth no longer exists… in fact, it only existed as it was happening. There and then, and that was that.
Everything is in the now.
Years pass by and fade away with millions of events that only happen in the now, and are then gone. We remember them as we experienced them (in most cases… my memory isn’t exactly the best!) but they are no longer here.
The future too doesn’t exist… only a space ‘ahead’ of us that is waiting to be filled by millions of new now events.
We can fill that space however we wish to.
Wouldn’t it be brilliant to have a now just as we want it?
We can, if we work now to make it so.
