Storm Point

Between the rain and through the wind, the lightning illuminates the horizon. Low cloud is coming inland covering the Moon yet allowing splintered shards of bright moonlight to shine through. The usual sandy beach completely covered by a swarming mass of murky and cold-and-dark seawater.  The jagged rocks, slowly starting to fade to invisibility with shadows and darkness beginning to merge into one, are once again braced for the oncoming onslaught of the elements. Gulls and other creatures are well aware of the coming storm, and are well hidden. The skies are heavy, and the only hint of blue is not from the sky itself, but the reflection of the lightning in the swirls of water.

Time, I think, to get home before the storm begins proper…

Doesn’t it just, Tess? Sometimes, though, looks can be deceiving…

Ooh, I like it! Very forbidding! (Or is that ‘foreboding’?)

Very dark and brooding. ..i am running for home now before the Moon tides and the stormlight splinter into the eye of the storm and swallow this Wolfie up!
