One Minute Ramble: Not ‘just’ a dream…

I would have loved to have seen the pyramids being built. Perhaps actually helping others to create such long lasting monuments of an age gone by.

I would have loved to have seen the city of Babylon and it’s Hanging Gardens. Perhaps tending to the gardens; or bartering in the market place; or living in the city itself.

I would have loved to have been part of an expedition who discovered great new lands. Perhaps steering the ships to fantastic new places; or even being one of the people who have ‘been discovered’.

I would love to know the mysteries of Stonehenge. To feel the magical, mystical energies that flow through the stones, the land and the air.

I would love to travel far through the stars and visit a distant world. To experience the weightlessness of being in outer space; to see if it really is as cold as we are told; and to see a bright, new planet.

I would love to be how I would like to be. All of the time. No pretence. No act. Just me.

Not every dream is impossible. Not every dream is ‘just’ a dream. And not every dream needs to remain a dream… however, I need to be open to allow my dreams to come true.

as Jen says, Sir Aquatom, one day some of dreams may come true, but not all, for then I think we would be disappointed…don’t you think?… No dreams left to wish for would mean nothing to keep us full of wanting, longing and believing … I will one day visit Stonehenge, and find the switch, (the secret one) … which turns on it’s time traveling teleportic ability, (spell checker wants telephonic? .. ET phoning home maybe..? 😉 ) … and let you know…and then you could visit all your longed for places… to view at your hearts content, …. one day… maybe… xPenx

One day indeed, Lady Pen. I drove passed Stonehenge once and saw it in the distance. Almost there, but not quite…

But you can still visit other wonders of the world – the Giants Causeway, the Drakensberg mountains, Maddens bar during a cosy session…
Chumbwumba have a song along those lines called Home With Me – someone has done their own version of a video of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On4zaDy2njM&feature=player_embedded
