‘Oh, Ognar,’ Myrtle sighed as she looked out of the window, which was rapidly steaming up, ‘I don’t believe it… after all these months of hotter than hot weather, we now get this sudden out of the blue cold snap which has caused this.’ She clasped her hands beneath her chin as she watched the blizzard outside, the other side of the road hidden behind a curtain of white.

‘Oh, Ognar,’ Myrtle sighed again, ‘it’s always warm in here, very cosy… it’s a good thing we decided to cancel the community walk today – we’d have been out in that, a pair of purple wrinkly iced lollies!’
Ognar smiled; ‘I would never describe you as purple or wrinkly, my delicious apple tart with custard on top, you would just be as radiant as you always are!’
‘Oh, Ognar,’ Myrtle’s cheeks flushed a warm red, ‘you always say the nicest things.’
