The Viral Spiral

Like a lead balloon with a hole in it, weighed down by even more lead, and pushed off the highest cliff in the world with a sheer drop, the challenge was set. The challenge? Write out of control. Channel those thoughts that go round and round and write. Something. Anything. Then link back here, or comment, or both, and if you can include your country that will show how far around the world the viral spiral has reached.

No blog? No worries. Just comment with your country. Or comment with a comment with your country… it’s up to you.

In 2010 my thoughts were going round and round in my head. I was debating whether to start a blog. I did, and I’m still at it sixteen years later. And sometimes I write new stuff.

My characters go round and round, recycled every so often, and they crop up in posts every now and then.

I like to think my stories are new, but they probably aren’t. They’re new to me at the time I write them… unless I retell them, and then they aren’t new, but are a new version of it.

It’s nice going full circle at times. Starting again. Stopping the clock, resetting, and steaming ahead with full gusto. I’ve done that a few times since I started this blog back in May 2010. And the stories that go round and round in my head end up here. Or there. Or anywhere.

When focus arrives
The unwritten word spirals
And settles in tale

From the United Kingdom.

From England.

Hellooo… anybody else here? Greetings from Planet Earth. From America. From The United States. Also from Saturn (the name of my street is actually “Saturn”). Sometimes I think existence as I / we know it isn’t basement reality, but rather is a simulation. Would a simulated existence be more absurd than a “real” existence? Both are crazy notions, IMO. And does absurdity fit more into a simulation, or into a non-simulation? Perhaps absurdity is simply a quirk of the human mind-brain.

      Hello, America.
You seem to be the only one in all of existence!
Which is good if you like your own space! 😆
      Thanks for commenting, CM.
