Good morning, and welcome back.
You’ve just tuned in to our celebrity makeover section, and today’s special celebrity guest is special celebrity chef Severil Boxley.

Hello, Severil, or Chef, it is most odd to see you out of your kitchen. Is it as strange for you?
Not at all, Sly, I do have some time away from cooking. Hahaha ha ha.
Ha ha ha. I don’t suppose being in a hot, steamy kitchen all day will give you much time for make up, will it?
I do wear it from time to time, Sly. I’m not a slave to the hob.
That wasn’t what I meant, Chef, I meant the heat would probably give you a reddened complexion.
…hmmm…
But never mind, because we have makeover artist to the stars Bert Smythe with us today, and he will work wonders on you in a mere few seconds.
As long as I don’t end up looking like a clown, I’ll be happy.
No worries there, Chef. Now Bert, what colours are you thinking of for our celebrity chef here?
Let me see. We need to emphasise those eyes, and the cheeks. Blend colour in to take away some of the tired chef look.
…hey…
Let me show you what I mean. Brush a bit of this here, pad that there, smooth and fill and lift and curl.
Curl?
Oh yes, Sly. The lines. Look how it’s taking place.

What do you think, Severil?
That’s it? That’s the finished look?
Oh no, my dear. Haha, no. This is just the foundation. Now comes the place due resistance.
Haha, Bert, surely you mean piece?
Not at all, Sly. Place. Now, dear Severil, please close your eyes and let me blend.
We’ll take a quick break and be right back.
Good morning and welcome back to Up The Morning. I’m Sly Klupp, and we’re currently joined by Bert Smythe, celebrity makeover artist, and celebrity chef Severil Boxley, who’s being made over. Bert, back to you.
You may open your eyes again now, Severil and have a look.
Gah!

Don’t worry, I haven’t finished yet. This is the mid-foundation layer. I like to think of this as the early black and white movie look. Imagine yourself looking like this whilst tied to a railway line.
…erm…
In black and white, the colours look very different. Very early 1900s movies.

See what I mean?
…um…
Nevertheless, close your eyes again for my final flourish.
A dab here, a brush there, a quick wipe, and we’re done. You may open your eyes.
Severil?
Open your eyes my dear. Both of them.

Erm…
Do you like it, Severil, it’s so easy to do, and as it’s 75% permanent you will be able to look like this in the kitchen. And, when Jasmine does your hair, you’ll be unrecognisable.
Severil.
Severil? Don’t…
Thank you for joining us on today’s Up The Morning, we’ve sadly run out of time. Tomorrow, we’ll be looking at the Norwegian Miniature Building Block Painter’s Choir, and I’ll be joined in the front room by Celebrity Whisperer winner Hush McUmper. I’m Sly Klupp and you have a good day.
