New Day

Through the swirling vortex

Of thought itself

Drifting ‘twixt the shadows

And the cobwebs of time

Memory plays tricks

As what was wasn’t

And dreams are now lost hopes

Reality is still here

Around existence in an altered form

Eyes open and mind alert

The day begins again

New start

New life

And forward we all go

“The day begins again” that should be written on the bedroom ceiling so it’s the first thing a person sees upon waking.

It really should be the first thing we think, M. New starts, and all that…

      I love typos, Lady P.
Well, they cause my eyes to widen sharpish, so love may not be the word I’m looking for…

I love the beginning of a new day, before AI have had time to do anything I might have to start over from tomorrow. Loved this verse.

My new day might start in the middle of the night. Waste not one hour of a new tomorrow. (I could be making up new poems etc for my blog!)
