Dusty and dirty

Musty and murky

Wraps unravelling

Draping, peeling

Reeking

Seeking

Arms outstretched

Gaunt face with hollow eyes

Hypnotised

Slowly waking

Creaking

Aching

Tomb not holding

Freedom waiting

Mine for the taking

…

But I’m petrified

    Reading your words Tom.. I felt you were describing how I felt today.. LOL…. I was dusty and dirty and definitely Creaking today, after hubby asked me to hold the step ladder while he trimmed a spruce tree… Amazing how many creepy crawlies fall out of there 🙂
