Wind

This week, Debbieโ€™s theme for One Word Sunday is Wind.

A few weeks ago, I was around The Lake, when the wind got up and brought in a sudden storm! Luckily, I was under cover as I could sense the changes in the air, and the wind was swirling around me. I looked behind me and saw this, and just had to take a photo.

    Who goes there?
    Friend or foe?

Anything is possible around here, Chris, but I don’t remember seeing aliens that day. That doesn’t mean I didn’t, however… they can wipe your memory, don’t forget! ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™‚

I really like this shot, Tom, although in Arizona that would be dust instead of rain. Much less appealing.

Thanks, Janet. I bet your dust storms are intense. Occasionally, it looks like we’ve been through a sandstorm, but really the sand from the Sahara has just been brought to us in the rain. Sand everywhere! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yuck! We didn’t experience any of the really bad dust storms that I’ve seen photos of but who knows what might happen this year. I don’t mind missing them!! Some of the photos look like something from a horror movie, where the dark evil comes rolling in.

Not the best… here’s hoping when they decide to come in, the wind’s blowing the other way! ๐Ÿ˜†

When I had friends and there was a thunderstorm we used to gather in the shelter of a large bush and everyone took a drink every time there was a bolt of lightning! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

    Fun and exhilarating! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

    Blessed be! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค
