It’s One Word Sunday yet again, and this week, Debbie’s theme is Bright. So, I’ve gone for a nice bright sky. We up this part of the world are now heading into Winter, so the skies may soon be dark and grey. But then again, there are the nice, crisp, clear skies of Winter as well, which serve to remind us that the warm days of Spring and Summer are not too far away. The future, as they say, is bright. It’s worth keeping that in mind!

  4. They’re a lovely shade of blue Tom! Truly beautiful 😀 I’m suffering a different shade of blue however. The kind that occurs when you finally get to the point of thinking you might actually get some blog posts up only to find you can’t use the new block editor properly 🤯 Blue mood….blue fits as it refused to allow editing and I can’t save any changes meaning the post is currently unreadable in present form against my background 🤨 And I have no idea what to do with this stupid and very horrible editor👿 You however, clearly have no problems at all! Congratulations!

    1. Aw no. Firstly, thank you, Icewolf.
      Now… why don’t you try Open Live Writer to format your post? I wrote a post about it recently, a very quick one mind. That’s where I write my posts. They do need editing in the new block writer just a bit, and you can change the block to the classic block, which is meant to be like the old writer 🙄. But editing is a lot easier than starting from scratch… I keep trying and failing!
      Don’t be blue… there are ways around things! 🙂

Thanks Tom😊I thought I’d be able to rely on you for handy tips, you being a smart young dude!😎Didn’t think live writer still worked but it’s installed on the older laptop and it got the job done🌝 Tweaked the original post after the initial upload but it’s still nothing to write home about! Better than nothing I guess seeing as my last post seems to be back on Feb before the world went a little bit mad!😷🤯 Changing to classic block didn’t help and it wouldn’t let me publish either. No editing, no publishing for Icewolf it would seem. Obviously I have a steep learning curve on my icy paws if I’m to make that editor work!

          Windows Live Writer and Open Live Writer both still work, although I don’t think you can download the Windows version now. I have both, and use Windows for Splodge and Splatter, and Open for Beyond the Sphere! 🙂
          I keep promising myself to learn the new editor, and one day I will.
          Your post looks OK. I read it through the reader and then popped over to your site to check things out! It has been a while, but nice to see you back blogging! 🙂
          The world is a little bit mad at the moment isn’t it? What with the virus and the new editor… we’ll get there eventually, however!

          1. No, I didn’t think it was still possible to download live writer either. Could use it on the new laptop but I will investigate this open version you mention-otherwise I might never be able to post another post! I’m not sure which is worse – the virus or the new editor!!

  6. Yes the skies are grim and grey at the moment as we wait for the incoming bad weather.
    On the plus side I got my essential shopping done (bread, milk, munchies and ice cream), so all is well in my world! 🙂 ❤

    1. Thanks Prenin. My shopping day is tomorrow, so come rain or shine I’ll be hitting the aisles in the afternoon. No munchies for me, though 🙁 blood pressure is raised slightly, so I need to get that down again!

  7. Is this really Tom? These are such normal photos that I think this site might have been hacked. Hopefully wherever you are, Tom, (up in the clouds??), you’re fine and will be rescued soon. 🙂

      My head is always up in the clouds… but today I had these ready-made photos to use, so I did.
