Counting Ravens Once, no Twice, no Once Again

One two three
The ravens gather
Four five six
Do numbers matter?
Seven eight
Circling high
Nine ten
I wonder why…

  1. Ravens are very smart birds Tom.

They can mimic speech (sounding like an old man) and use this talent to call foxes and wolves to open carcasses for them to feed.

They can also recognise people and have different calls for friend or enemy – and they have a long memory!!!
