A bright light woke me.
It was the Moon, reflected off the clouds. Normally, cloud cover obliterates fantastic views of the heavens, but last night they took part! Bleary-eyed, I looked out over the Grinds and grabbed myself a couple of grainy photos. The Moon being quite low in the sky made things look all the more mysterious.
And in the stillness of the night, the clouds were the only things moving… that I could see!
Intriguing photos, Tom! Thanks for sharing. I’ve been taking moonlights strolls because as the song goes, “Moonlight… feels right.” 🙂

My stroll to the window didn’t feel right, CM, it was as though somebody was shining a bright torch through the curtains. I was half asleep, mind! 🙂

That’s why I wear an eye mask when I sleep. 😉

Good point… I haven’t worn mine for a while. I shall have to ransack the Mansion to try and find it again! 😄

Not bad for being blurry, Beverly!

Beautiful photos. We had a very shiny full moon here reflecting on the lake making it a bright night. A lively night of boaters daring to be on the lake. Water skiing and wake boarding in the wee small hours. Sleep? What is that?

Sounds idyllic, Susan. Well, maybe apart from the revellers, I suppose!

What interesting photos. It looks as though you could almost reach out and pick out a cloud.

The camera seems to have caught the clouds a little more vividly than they actually were, Chris. They were impressive though.

It looks like a super moon.
The sky has a patch quilt feel especially the first photograph.
Nice capture … Be Safe … Isadora 😎

Thanks Isadora. I don’t think it was a Supermoon, but it was very bright!
