Shapes in the Shadows

‘Quiet’ is the latest theme for #WorldWatercolorMonth, and I was transported to a view of a river at night. Obviously, the Moon was quite bright, otherwise visibility would have been a little poor. Even the water flows with a serene gentleness at night, helping all the forest dwellers to sleep soundly. In the silvery light, strange shadows can be seen, but surely they’re from the realms of the imagination.

Did you notice that the moon was massive last night Tom ?

I didn’t, Elaine. Didn’t see any sign of it at all, which is odd. We have a Full Moon tomorrow, which will account for its size, the Wyrt Moon. There’s also an eclipse which may or may not be visible. I tend to miss astronomical events due to cloud cover, so I’ll probably miss it! 🙄🙂🌑
