The simple life is a twisted one,
It’s always a puzzle to me
I stand and wait and watch and wish
But it never rings true
Stolen seconds
Missing moments
Yearned for years gone by
Yet still I amble on
Days streaming by
Waiting to win the prize
The big one
To be trim and true
The simple life?
I think not… do you?
Beautifully said with the words given to you.

Compared to most people I do lead a simple life . By choice I might add.

Oh, how I would choose a simple life, Beverly.
Once things are in order, I shall go for it! 😀

My life is much more simple now that I have retired. I’ve never been one to like clutter, however, a little creeps in every now and then. Perhaps, to keep me on my toes.
