A Partial Eclipse

A partial Eclipse
Hidden behind cloud cover
Yet darkness still falls

That was us. But it did get strangely silent and no breeze. And the light…not dark ,not very bright …just strange.

It does go strangely quiet, Beverly, doesn’t it? I saw my Total Eclipse in Birmingham (UK) on a busy road… the silence seemed to even cover the vehicle noises. As you say, strange, but a good experience.

Too overcast and rainy here to notice anything 😦

That’s how it usually is here when there’s a meteor shower going on, Raili!

Was a wonder to view from my porch! We had about 85% view and the clouds parted for me fortunately. 🙂

Fabulous, Jodi! Perfect timing, and no need to go anywhere to view it either!

I remember the last eclipse I saw, the strange twilight and how the birds stopped singing! 🙂

I could even observe it with the naked eye because the clouds blocked most of the light! 🙂

Not a wise thing to do in clear skies!!! 🙂

    God Bless!

At least our cloud cover is good for that, Prenin!
The quietness is eerie, isn’t it?

I’ll say – like the light just drained away… 🙂

        God Bless!
